Matalco to add Wisconsin location

Aluminum billet maker plans to invest $80 million in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, plant.

Matalco, headquartered in Brampton, Ontario, has announced plans to build a 110,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in the Rapids East Commerce Center in the city of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, according to a report in the Wisconsin Rapids Tribune.

The company, which will invest $80 million in the plant, produces homogenized 6000 series aluminum logs and cut billets primarily from scrap for the aluminum extrusion and forging manufacturing industries.
