Wisconsin-based company purchases The Owyhee


A landmark building in downtown Boise is under new ownership.

The Owyhee, at the corner of Main and 11th streets, was purchased last week by Wisconsin-based development firm Hendricks Commercial Properties, as first reported by the Idaho Statesman. This is the same company that bought large portions of BoDo along Broad Street in 2017.

The Owyhee, a 1910-era hotel, was renovated and turned into an upscale mixed-use development by Los Angeles-based development company LocalConstruct in 2013.
