The village has laid the foundation for a
plan to demolish the former Schneider maintenance facility and replace
it with close to 150 owner-occupied condominiums and townhomes. Ashwaubenon`s Village Board rezoned the 22-acre property at 2661 and 2741 S. Broadway for residential uses on June 25, pushing the community closer to a redevelopment of prime riverfront property, something that village President Mary Kardoskee has hoped to see for years as a resident and elected trustee.
