Governor Evers will lead a trade mission to Japan as the state
continues to search for new and expanding markets for Wisconsin-made
goods, the Wisconsin Economic Development Council announced.
Evers will visit Tokyo, Yokohama, and Chiba City. WEDC says it selected the cities because it believes those areas are places to develop or increase trade. “Japan represents a market that cannot be ignored for Wisconsin, especially in the areas of medical and scientific instruments, industrial machinery and electrical machinery,” Katy Sinnott, vice president of international business development for WEDC wrote in a prepared statement. “Wisconsin’s leadership in these areas and our well-known manufacturing and research capabilities create exciting export opportunities for globally minded companies in our state.”.... ...moreKen Notes: Interesting! | ||
