GREEN BAY - The state Assembly on Thursday is poised to decide whether Green Bay should receive state money to help move the coal piles along the Fox River. The
piles, just south of the Mason Street bridge upriver from the Wisconsin
Public Service Pulliam Power Plant, have long been an eyesore and
questioned as a potential health hazard. Green Bay-area leaders hope to
use the funding to help with relocation, port expansion and the eventual
development of riverfront amenities... Ken Notes: This area coud be very special but development on brown-fields has it`s challenges. | ||
