OSHKOSH - Dozens of local workers got the chance to learn valuable skills that will expand their employment opportunities and earn better wages, thanks to a state-funded partnership between local manufacturers and Fox Valley Technical College.
The last six of 24 people who underwent training in 2019 to become press brake operators graduated Tuesday from the program. A $110,194 Wisconsin Fast Forward Grant from the state Department of Workforce Development to the Fox Valley Workforce Development Board made the training possible....
