Housing tax credits approved for Ashland, Hayward projects

The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority has approved housing tax credits for projects in Ashland and Hayward.

According to grant information released on Tuesday, Commonwealth Development Corporation will receive $1,124,292 in state tax credits and $452,999 in federal tax credits for Superior View Cottages in Ashland. The new construction project includes 50 housing units.

Meanwhile, the Lac Courte Oreilles Housing Authority will receive $699,418 in federal tax credits to acquire and rehabilitate 24 housing units.
