A dog park planned for downtown Milwaukee has won a $25,000 grant to help finance the $750,000 development.

The 12,000-square-foot park would be located along West Clybourn Street between North Plankinton Avenue and the Milwaukee River, beneath I-794.

PetSafe, which makes dog fences, leashes and other items, announced that Milwaukee is one of five communities to be awarded a $25,000 Bark for Your Park grant to help build the dog park...
